Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney is a document authorizing someone else to act in your name to do things or sign documents on your behalf. If this authority is to be valid while you are severely incapacitated and unable to communicate, there are special procedures that need to be followed. That is called an “enduring power”.

Your Power of Authority can become effective immediately, or on the happening of another event such as when you are incapacitated through an accident.

The usual fee is between $125 to $175 plus GST. Again it depends on the complexity involved.
